Windsor Theatre Now Showing: Coyote Vs. ACME

Coyote vs. Acme, a live action/animated hybrid legal comedy, shows at the Windsor Theatre Friday, August 28 through Thursday, September 10.

Plot

In 1992, in a world where cartoon characters co-exist amongst humans, Acme Corporation scientist Dr. Peter Lorre leaks a message to an unknown contact before being captured and imprisoned by security.

In the present day, Wile E. Coyote is tired of unsuccessfully pursuing the Road Runner over the years. Wile hires a personal injury lawyer, Kevin Avery (Will Forte), who specializes in cases of cartoon violence, to sue Acme Corporation for their backfiring products. They face off against Acme’s slick corporate attorney, Buddy Crane (John Cena), while uncovering a larger corporate conspiracy with the help of whistleblowing Looney Tunes characters

The firm attempts to summon the Road Runner to testify, but he evades them.  Acme executive Foghorn Leghorn warns Buddy to prevent the trial revealing any corporate secrets. 

Daffy Duck, Granny, Tweety, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian, Miss Prissy, and the Tasmanian Devil co-star.

Coyote vs. Acme is rated PG for cartoon violence and some language. Running time is 103 minutes. 

Warner Animation Group, Troll Court Entertainment, and Keylight Pictures served as the production companies for the film. The distributor is Ketchup Entertainment, which also distributed The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.
